About Me

I'm a sophomore at BYU studying Computer Science. I'm interested in software development and website development, but I'm open to exploring new fields! I've also been studying Mandarin Chinese for 12 years, I hope to find a career where I can utilize that experience.

I graduated from Timpview High School in 2021, where I took several AP classes including AP Computer Science. While there I completed a Software Development pathway, was a member of the SheTech Student Board, and received the Sterling Scholar award for Computer Technology. I also was named the Northern Utah Affiliate 2021 winner for the NCWIT (National Center for Women and Information Technology) Aspirations in Computing Award, and received a Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship.

Outside of school, I also love to read, play the violin, and ballroom dance. I love reading science fiction and fantasy, especially Brandon Sanderson, though I'll read just about anything that's good! I'm currently on the BYU Ballroom Spring Team, and I love to play and listen to music. I've also lived in the Netherlands, China, Slovenia, and Germany, as well as traveled to over a dozen different countries. I hope that someday I can travel to every continent at least once!
